I'm an experienced seamstress with a history of apparel design and construction that goes back to my childhood playtime. I began sewing at age 5 by making gala outfits for my Barbies. By the time I was 11, I was making outfits for my sister and I.
Over 30 years later, I'm still living my dream by helping brides fulfill their vision for their perfect wedding day. And in a way, bridal found me!
Throughout college, as I earned my degree in Apparel and Textile Design, my friends asked me to create custom garments for them. It started as outfits for college functions, then it became their wedding dresses and bridesmaid’s dresses. I was inspired to design and construct my own bridal gown and my bridesmaid’s dresses too!
I continued to work in the pageant and bridal industry in Atlanta, with lots of contract sewing on the side. And while I’ve even worked on projects for film studios, celebrities, and local theater groups, I always found my way back to bridal. It’s where my gifts are able to shine and help so many.
As the years go by, I love my work even more. Each bride teaches me more about life, love, and traditions in their own unique way. And with three grown daughters of my own, I’m experiencing this firsthand as I have my turn to be the mother of the bride.
